I'm favoring the idea of starting a local fish tank.
I plan on stocking it with some blue gill, bass, and a catfish
Would be very cheap and highly aggressive as well as very natural
I can always do the Wolf tank after my next move (within the year).What do you all think?

The local fish idea could be cool if you go and get the fish soon. Would u be able to get them to eat pellets. Feeding only live fish is a pain.
ReplyDeleteLocal sounds really cool and more fun because you catch them yourself. Just a few questions...Like Jswain0411 mentioned, what would they eat? Do you mind not watching them grow( not that they aren't gonna grow at all I just mean from a 3in fich to an adult)? Would you have to worry about natural parasites? And how soon can you post pictures of the wolffish? lol
ReplyDeleteI cant find pictures of the rainbow or violet...I think its just Red Wolf fish (with minor variations withinin selective breeding).
ReplyDeleteAs far as local fish eating habits, I will eventually get the fish to eat pellets. I know of some people who were able to achieve this. The hard part is getting the savage predators like the bass to eat pellets. We will see what I can do
